The clue to the Trump interest is in the ludicrous fact that the election isn't for another year and a half. The utter, utter, ridiculousity of that means that media outlets, comedians, commentators, and all kinds of other people love Trump and his big wiggy car crash of a campaign. It's a bit of light entertainment to fill up the months before things get more serious and turgid.

Although I originally thought another candidate would win the Republican nomination, I realized it was almost certainly going to be The Donald about one month into the campaign. Once I realized how much grass roots / Joe Public support was flocking to him and how many people were suddenly rescinding their Democrat Party membership in Massachusetts, New York, Pennysylvania etc, I knew we were experiencing a Tsunami. Its difficult to get any coverage worth a toss of what's really going on, most U.S. and 90% of Euro coverage is absolute nonsense. The working class has awakened. |  |
