Lumley
at 18:26 8 Aug 2021

Good Luck to Lumley, didnt deserve the stick he received IMO, he was just having a very bad period but he needed to be moved on. The crowd were never going to forget / forgive and any mistake would have been jumped on every time he made one regardless of other performances. Also today i thought you could see the same old errors appear, fumbled a cross that he got away with and the goal, even though it was a resonable strike, it wasnt in the corner or a rocket of a shot, It was a ok shot but LOW and he has always been so slow in getting down to them, that and his feet are too slow so any shot were he hhs to dive low as a good chance. A lot like Rob Green, does some great saves then a shot that a very good keeper would save creeps in. IMO right move for club and player

Correct Juzzie - Hart touching it twice before the ball had stopped witin the pen area meant it was a foul to us, ref should play adv and the goal should have stood.

Two different situations.

I understand the rule, but it only can be retaken until either someone else touches the ball or it has stopped inside the 18 yard area.

Nether of the above two happened because Hart second kick happened when the ball was moving so it was not dead and no one else had touched it.

So when Hart kicked it the second time it became a in direct free kick to us, where the ref should played the advantage and the goal should have stood.

They got it wrong IMO

if he goes to Ars he wont get a game, and if he does it will be in a mickey mouse cup or the odd game due to injuries. wth us he will start 1st choice and get the chance to show what he can do, does well and one of the other clubs could come in for him. IMO

Not a good a signing on football terms as he was injured as we signed him that way and never let him have the operation and recuperation he needed until last year. You can't blame him for relagation as he was knackered and trying to play through the pain barrier when he should have said no.

To be fair when he came back this time he was a great player and would be a good asset as sub for the last 20 mins.

But for the monetary point he was actually won of the best signings as he goal took us back up and was worth £150m, wthout that goal then yes your right but ... you can't take that away.

My concern is I bet there s another appeal avenue they can go down, so the lawyers can make more money out of it all.

Its not as if they have had over 20 years to raise money and awareness of this land is it, not that it has gone to ruin, overrun and now nothing but waste land.

Just hope we can start building as then its too late for anything

This season thoughts on yesterdays result
at 18:12 24 Mar 2014

Not saying its terrible as mentioned i think we are having a good season, better than anticipated, but if we had been more assertive, played the ball quicker and gone for the throat i feel IMO that we would have won more that we drew and not lost as many by the odd goal.

We would have either 1) scored more than 1 goal and killed the game off 2) the goal conceded would have meant we would have got a draw and not a lost.

Hopefully with Ravel and Charlie playing together will see this, as Ravel who works his socks for the team only knows one way and thats attack :) at pace, always looking for the quick attack.

This season thoughts on yesterdays result
at 15:31 23 Mar 2014

Yesterday performance was the exact same type of performance we have averaged out all season, and the reason why we struggle to beat top teams.

The start of season when we had the good run, we played possession football, pass the ball around from side to side, the midfield often dominating but lacking any urgency or threat, and without Ravel this would have been at best a draw as we had no other idea how to move the ball forward.

I thought Bond summed up our performance of lack luster urgency, when he said he was upset with Green for not keeping the ball n extra time and settling for the draw, instead he chose to kick it. Other managers in our position don’t, they try and take all three points and put forwards on. This tactic is the reason why we lose so many, playing safe, keeping the ball means we don’t finish teams off, and recently we paid the price as our luck as run out, instead of teams missing there chances, there getting the rub of the green and scoring. It’s also is the reason why we can’t beat better teams, because they have the skill and know how, how to unlock our team, and they stick to their game plan even if they go one down.

Yes I am happy with the win, in fact I am happy with how the seasons gone as I predicted we would finish 10 to 12 after last season’s shambolic mess, so this is not a moan, just an observation and opinion. Would I sack Redknapp, if we don’t go up — no, as they only way we are ever going to get a decent team, that show consistency, flair and passion s build, from the bottom up, and changing managers is not the answer. Because if it was, Flavio tango man would have won the premier league .

Onwards and upwards, here to the play off (hopeful we wont muck it up), but the sad thing is, I cant stand the prem, its corporate football, with corporate fickle fans, as the prices go through the roof, and people just buy season tickets to sell for a profit. Last year even old fans were selling there for big games because of the profit they could make.

QPR to Pay Premium Prices Again
at 19:28 30 Jan 2014

Why oh Why don't we ever learn. We all knew we needed strikers back in Aug when we only had Charlie. 6 months later no striker, Austin out 1 day to go till the end of the transfer deadline day.
If we want promotion now we will need to pay premium prices again, in wages and transfer fees as everyone will know we desperate and hold us to ransom.

Silly bushiness practices, poor and amateur. Tut Tut long day tomorrow, lets hope someone somewhere at QPR has a couple of magic tricks under there sleeves.

Is this good for the Stadium Project
at 20:59 22 Jan 2014

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-25839958

HS2 objections denied, cant appeal to the European court, so another step to Old Oak Common Rail link progressing forward.

We all know by now, the Owners of the club are all interested in the regeneration project as this will be worth Billions to them, and QPR is the vehicle they are using to start it all off.

If it is, and it does happen for many a year while this goes on we will have there finance and time to build. However if this falls down we could be in a weeee bit of trouble.

derby going to win the league aparantly

There are good side, on a good run, confidence is high and they have bounced back from when we beat them as well. Its the same as with all top clubs including us, its how you deal with injuries, suspension and a poor run of form.

SM is a good manager and he will know how to handle the pressure for his players, I wouldn't count them out, like i wouldn't Burnley or Reading and still think its open.

Still all to play for, and we are in a better position than most, HR also knows how to deal with the pressure and looking forward to second half of the season think its going to be exciting becuase as always we never do things easy.....

Most of the advice I can give is all covered above as it appears they have been through what you have e.g. they can only recover monies for the contract they signed and lost, any future business they cant touch you for, transfer all your assets to someone else name then they cant touch that, you should have emails or correspondence showing they chased you.

You can also get your contract, any contract that stops you gong to work for someone else needs to be very specific, if it is worded generic to cover all of your work then this will not count.

The lawyer is playing hard ball, hoping your panic and pay without consulting this is a normal tactic. Reply as mentioned above, dont pay and if there is a chance that they may be right, ask them to prove their lost and then go through them with a fne tooth comb and birng them down and negotiate.

But dont pay fight it as most of these are bluffing, and please seek legal advice from someone who specialists. It may cost, but will save you a lot f u think they have a case.

But first of all, relax dont panic, dont respond automaticly, take your time and plan your steps

FINE !!! ???? - Just linking what got sent to me
at 15:40 17 Nov 2013

TF wont hand over £60m in fines he hasnt got that rich by giving it away, if it ever got to that fact then expect a big lawsuit, as they will start many deference, the debt was incurred in the prem so these rules dont apply, restriction of trade are just two.

Also from what i read, in the second year say 2013 / 14, maximum loss if the owners dont inject equity, well between Amit / TF and the others, i can see them injecting the equity (this dosnt mean you have to pay off the debts).

There are so many reasons why this is a nonsense article, however if TF / Amit and the others pull out we would then be royally stuffed.

Agreed mate, the thing is the land has been there under utilized, and under invested for 10 to 20 years and now is simply a dump. Where are the actual proposals and money from the so called goody goodies to redevelop it, there are none.

If e redevelop it, and put in place what there saying it will offer better jobs and money for the community, better sporting facilities and even raise house prices as it will improve the area.

If the goody goodies get there way, it will stay empty, under invested for year and become a drug baron for gangs to sell there crap, which will make it a living nightmare for the locals.

I recon the main people behind this is either lawyers or business men who want the land to buy it and make a fortune.

Thats IMO

possession !
at 21:33 28 Oct 2013

IMO at the moment you can't argue to much about the way we play because we have won 8 drawn 3 lost 1 and im my book thats a great start. However you can argue that we need a plan B, because burnley knew how we were going to play and had tactics to beat it. Their front two and midfield closed us down at the back, harrassed us so we never had the time to move outside our 30 yeards, until we either gave the ball away or hoofed it up to Austin who had 2 or 3 on him at all times, and with the MF so deep in our half they simply pick pocket him all game.

At half time we needed to change it, bring on Chevy, play long balls in the channels behind them, this would have forced them back and turned them around, and allowed us to move forward as a unit. However we didnt do this and as such we lots of possession in the wrong areas and Burnely to their created controlled the game IMO.

No need to panic, long way to go and we had a bad day, if we keep this form up and these results up we will get promoted.
