Looks like zamora playing so I would go

Vargas/Zarate zamora Adel

That way can have one of Vargas/zarate/Adel on the bench. Pretty attacking team, could play Clint at Lb if we want to be more solid and make the midfield 3 a 4 if and when with Isla.

Think we could get some joy with a front three with zamora feeding Adel/Vargas/Zarate. Nothing to lose (other than another match) so may as well go for it.

Wow, it took me 5 mins to come up with that plan, may not be a great one or work but it's a plan.

More than Arry came up with in the time he was here.

Really don't see it as a bad thing tbh, yes there is a possibility he might break down in the first game and be injured for a year but, It is also worth bearing in mind, that ANY player could break down or get injured and be out for a year or life (Richard Ord anyone?).

But he might not get injured or fall apart.

He might play 25-30 games, his experience may be invaluable (remember the up roar when we signed Clint Hill and Ryan Nelson). He may help Caulker (of course IF he joins) to a spot in the England team, there is one there for the taking. We have Nedum Onuoha who can learn from him still at 27.

We have Ehmer, Harriman, Sendles-White who could all learn from one of the best defenders England have produced in the last 30

And to top it all off it will cost us (if figures are to be believed in regards wages) under 3million quid.

Yes, yes I am actually quite happy.

Hey all, don't know if this has been bought up already but reading about our previous Wembley visits (my only personal visit was V Oxford, I was twelve and am not ashamed to say I cried all the way home), makes me think we have got to get this going. So simple and it would catch on like the proverbial house on fire and I am sure every Rangers fan would join in. 35k plus singing it would be superb! I'm sure Rodney will be there and would bring back some great memories for him too.
