The Kings Head is still there but it occasionally closes as no can seem to make a go of the place. The Old Spot which is just round the corner is a fantastic pub though. |

We live in Cam which is near Dursley & my wife works in Cheltenham which is easily commutable, there's not a lot to do here though. Loads of new build houses going up in the area. Not that I've been for years but getting to/from London for games can be a bit of a pain.
I would avoid Stroud as it s a bit of a shithole in places & the traffic can be awful, it also got a bit of a hippy vibe to is which is fine if you're into all that but I personally don't like the place. |

I may have posted this before but during the frequent moments of extreme boredom at work my mate & I would search the company address book for amusing names. The beauty of working for a transnational organisation yielded such gems as Gerhard W*nke & Roger Hole. |

There's a few new-builds going up not far away in Cam where I live. Bit quieter than Quedgeley (at the moment) if that's your thing & commutable to Gloucester, Cheltenham & North Bristol. |

Forgot about that, yeah he was great in that too. Hap & Leonard is on Amazon if that helps, also stars Christina Hendricks, which gives another 2 good reasons to watch, it & James Purefoy. |

I've just got rid of a similar one to make room for an extension. I sold it on ebay to avoid paying someone to do it & the landfill costs (buyer to dismantle). Anyway the guy turned up & dismantled it on his own in about 6 hours. It didn't seem to give him any trouble, Apparently once you remove the glass you can access the fixings that secure it to the dwarf wall. |
