Really not a very good player - but Hilly must have seen something off the pitch or in training that he liked because he had him in his squad for a while. Remember him scoring an own goal v Notts County at home in the Promotion season that Ben Davies managed to claim (Ryan Lowe style) to spare his blushes. |  |

Hilly rated him enough to shell out a fee for him as well. Think he was initially on loan from Macc before we paid about £15,000 for him. |  |

They overlapped quite considerably.
Buckley made his debut in February 2008, by which time Rundle had already been at Spotland for about 18 months.
Rundle played his last game for Dale at Cheltenham in January 2010, which Buckley missed due to 'injury'. He was sold to Watford two days later. | |
