Thought Sassi had his best game for us today, if Nevett goes wouldn't say no to him coming back next season. Edwards showed some promise too. Hopefully the feelgood factor from this win and yesterday's statement can help to keep the majority of the squad together. |

We did similar vs Barnet and Biffos - it surely should apply that if you have a tough away game against a strong opponent, you clear your lines early on and don't give anything away |

Happened in a Champs League QF last week as well - Dortmund messing about in the first few minutes at a place like Atletico Madrid. Makes you wonder what's happened to the age old no brainer 'don't give them a sniff in the first half hour and get the crowd on their backs' |

There was a chance before that as well to wrap it up when Gordon could have played East in. Second gritty home win in a row without playing well which is encouraging. Gilmour best player on the pitch and EEL led the back line well. Most teams will try to shut Hayes out of games now, could do with Jez finding form again and to get Ty back fit. |

Seemed like a questionable decision at the time the teams were announced. Although the pitch is turning a lot already, would have thought that Leach and Ahmed supported by Root would have been a sufficient and well balanced spin attack. Was expecting the steadiness and accuracy of Robinson/Anderson to back up Wood and help to dry up the runs, particularly as Wood is injury prone and can only bowl in short bursts, and Stokes is not fit to bowl. |

Wonder what's happening with the youth set up. Nevett has obviously transitioned well and quickly into the first team but Oscar Kelly, Dos Santos and Ehimamiegho, who all made their debuts last season, have been nowhere to be seen this season. You'd think the current squad and injuries situation would be an opportunity to involve them more. |

The usual sharp football at times, we looked especially dangerous as a counter attacking team 2nd half. 2nd goal was a beauty and the 3rd was great centre forward play after a nice pass from Hendo. Great to see the appetite to keep a clean sheet after that, Moulden deserved that commitment in front of him. Thought EEL and Jimmy were immense. |

Strikers that are never caught offside score fewer goals than those who are. Filippo Inzaghi did pretty well for a player who was 'born offside' according to Fergie. |
