Saturday's matchday programme Thursday, 20th Dec 2007 18:07
As always (sometimes), we bring you a sneak preview of this weekend's matchday programme with some of the highlights that you'll no doubt be reading about.
Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme – The Voice of Spotland – is back for
Saturday’s league game against Barnet.
The bumper 60-page issue contains everything you’ve come to expect of the Dale
programme:
- There are the serious and not-so-serious articles, as well as a fine
selection of action pictures from the Southend game taken by photographer
Daniel Youngs.
- Keith Hill looks back at our away wins at Accrington and Rotherham, while
there is an exclusive interview with striker Glenn Murray.
- An ex-Dale striker appears as the Centenary Legend, while we find out
which Dale player used to have Everton’s team picture on his wall.
- Scrutator discusses the England manager situation, while Traveller’s Tales
returns with a report on the trip to Accrington, contributed by one-off
reporter David Chaffey.
- We have another Dale-related quiz to test the grey matter and a look back
12 years to a fruitless trip to London.
- Visitors Barnet get five pages of coverage, while the ‘100 Years of
Rochdale AFC’ article returns, with an in-depth look at the 1979/80 and
1980/81 seasons.
All this and much, much more will be in Saturday’s The Voice of Spotland, on
sale in the Club Shop and around the ground, still priced at £2.50.
