Following Tommy McDermott going back to Port Vale yesterday, the club have announced that Cian Hayes is staying at Dale for now.

The 20-year-old winger joined on loan from Fleetwood Town in October on a one-month loan but that has today been extended by another month.

Hayes has impressed in his stay so far and scored in our last outing, the opening goal in our 3-2 win away at Hartlepool and he's played in all four league games in that time as well as our FA Cup Qualifying Round defeat to Hereford United.
