The time has come for our second PES2008 Tournament in the Dale Bar. Full details can be found here.

The draw will take place at approximately 715pm (matches start at 7:30) with the top 32 ranked teams as of the PES2008 stats website.  They are:-

You will be assigned a random team in the draw so it will be a test of your skill if you normally only play with a certain team.

Chaff will be supplying his memory card which has all the kits and teams updated up to the transfer window which has just closed. Please feel free to bring your own joy pad if you want but make sure you have something on it so it can be identified as yours.

All games will be 10 minutes long with no extra time, it will go straight to penalties if scores are level.

You will have 1 minute to edit your players/formation before the game unless you make the final where you will have 3 minutes so quick fingers are needed.

There will be no substitutions allowed during a game except for injuries.

Matches will be played on 3 TV’s in the Dale Bar and the Ratcliffe suite (maybe 4 if we are running short on time), which will include the big screen.

Both semi-finals, third/fourth place play off and the final will be held on the big screen.

Providing we have a full compliment of 32 teams the prizes will be as follows.

1^st Place = £100

2^nd Place = £40

3^rd Place = £20

Food will be available on the night by way of pies which can be purchased over the bar and please feel free to attend even if you don’t want to play for what we hope will be an enjoyable night for everybody.

Look forward to seeing and meeting some of you there and if you’re playing good luck (unless you play me then you won’t need it) and remember it’s just a bit of fun so don’t worry if you’re not very good because there will be others who will be in a similar position i.e. me.
