A couple of 'look at me, I'm sh*t-hot' moments that would have been better if they were 'play for the team' moments, but his quality was there for all to see.

At the end of the day he wants to be seen as a top striker so has to be knocking them in, so I can understand him being desperate to get his turn. Definitely will be hungry for more hopefully more relaxed about it now though.

Certainly at the moment but need to give Gomis a chance to settle in. He has previously looked good for us (e.g. Chelsea) and certainly has skill. Think bought as a full striker rather than a second fiddle. Will be needed when Bony away.
That's the difficulty with a new striker that does not slot in seamlessly, balancing game time with performance. Unfortunately don't have Europe to build him up on either. | | | |

The players need to learn that Gomis is not Bony, and playing the ball to him in the same way won't lead to the same result. |  |
