1974/75 Team on 14:47 - Nov 22 by morningstar | Was that the 35 yard screamer against Huddersfield? |
Yes. One thing I'll never forget was when Gary Moore was brought down by an opponent near the corner flag. Gary, whilst sitting on the ground, snatched the corner flag and the other player shyt himself as Gary shaped up to javelin him with said flag. The was much relief from the player and the ref when Gary just Suddenly burst out laughing. The North bank was in stitches. [Post edited 22 Nov 2014 15:57]

Almost certainly a sending off today followed by a 3 month ban and calls from 'KICK IT OUT' for a lifetime ban for imitating a zulu!

1974/75 Team on 23:06 - Nov 23 with 564 views | TNT | Starsk, You're pretty hot when it comes to remembering us in the 70's, so answer me this... ... I was at the (then infamous) Swans 4 v 4 Stockport game. I'm certain that the much maligned Gary Moore scored a fifth goal in that game which was disallowed. It would have made our incredible comeback (from 1-4) to draw 4-4, into a more remarkable 5-4 win. I'm playing this game from memory, so no looking in books mind!

Tuesday 22nd March 1977. I was also at that game. Yes we did have a 5th disallowed goal but I can't remember if it was Gary or not. The unusual aspect of that game for me was... I got in late and I was on the east bank. When we went 4-0 down I went over to the wing stand and we scored 1-4. Then I sneaked into the centre stand, we scored again. So I decided to continue the lucky sequence and went over to the West stand... 3-4. Bided my time, then Jumped into the North bank and we equalised. Ones thing for sure. I covered more ground than Gary Moore usually did, lol. A crazy night for sure.

Were you the kid going around The Vetch with the white box strapped around his neck, selling Vetch Field pasties? Had you gone back in The East, the lucky sequence would surely have continued and Gary Moore's goal would have stood! 5-4
