The info will be out there in the run up to polling day. It always is, the manifestos are usually pretty detailed. The problem is that the populace is so jaded by the whole process that no one bothers to look at them and then just whine that no one knows what anyone stands for. The debates will help, they were widely watched last time around. | |

I agree with your first point. At the risk of banging on, the electoral system doesn't help either. As much as I despise Farage and pretty much everything he stands for, his party could poll 20% of the votes in May and still end up with very few or even no seats. That's just not right I'm afraid.
Policy pledges generally start being dropped when the civil service gets hold of them and points out how unworkable most of them are.  | |
