would you support local business over business from Cardiff 11:54 - Feb 25 with 4800 viewslibertine

I'm really annoyed with the Swansea councils attitude to local business,
If you had the chance of buying a product from a Swansea business or a crapdiff business, exactly the same product exactly the same price.
The Cardiff council have chosen the Cardif business and so have the Swansea council.

Neath have chosen a Neath business.

Exactly the same product. In fact the business does charitable work for the Swansea.

So what would you choose Swansea or Cardiff???

The swansea company can challenge the decision if it has grounds to complain

I know that it has complained,

but it was told not to complain about anything that the council does or they will cut them out of future work.

The reality is do the schools need the cheaper equipment or do the people who buy them on behalf of the schools need a nice day out?

Anyone who says that hospitality does not work then here is proof that it does,

but it really shouldn't especially in the school with their budget

Have been told the council were also very inflexible with regards to other services to schools such as staff solutions such as teachers and teaching assistants so no surprise to hear this

This is Patches O'Houlihan saying "Take care of your balls, and they'll take care of you."

what i'm trying to get at is,

the money that the council are spending does not belong to them it belongs to us being the tax payer and inhabitants of Swansea,

so why don't these officials choose the most cost effective/value for money source which is also a local Swansea business, therefore cutting the cost of the goods and helping the local economy.

But no they spend our money with a more expensive company, which co incidentally offers a nice day of hospitality,

its similar situation to mp's expenses
