In the Swansea end, why?

Very proud to be voted Planet Swans Poster of the Year 2017 by my fellow posters. Especially on a site that nearly had 20 million impressions last year.

Hope not. But if there is, beer + d1ckheads is probably the answer.

There is footage on Twitter of scuffles with the stewards and 2 female stewards falling over the segregation area.

It was something and nothing, and hardly comparable with what was known as 'trouble' in the darker days.

Does this mean that Swansea fans are more "energised" than the Palace lot on the Pardewometer?

Anyway, "Trouble" FFS! If that was "Trouble" I wonder how some of our Bristol trips in the mid-80s would be reported by today's gossamer standards? " Holocaust! Apocalypse! Armageddon! Perhaps I could have been one of the Four Horsemen in the media report replete with argyle Pringle, Barbour Deerstalker, fray hemmed Lois cords and Nike Wimbledons? A dandified, clean-shaven, Mandate-scented teenage herald of the End of Days?

Ha! There's a black comedy film script in this: Away day tribulations of the YTS generation! What makes normally polite, mild mannered young men break all the lightbulbs in British Rail pullman coaches on weekends? What's all the puffed-chest strutting and aggressive dragging on Embassy No.6 about as they emerge from stations when they haven't done it all week? Why are so many of them carrying Lacoste golf umbrellas when no rain is forecast? Why are none of them remotely capable of passing a mirror?

A tale of teenage angst, the coveting of ill-fitting tennis gear, a lust for Aquascutum Trenchcoats and the all consuming quest to get the fit, netball playing girl to dance with you to Phyllis Nelson's Move Closer before they put the lights back on at Valbonne chucking- out time.

Johnny Bond's Black and White Army, Johnny Bond's Black and White Army!

I was there with my 8 year old son. Never again will I take him to an away game. Quite a few with kids had to move as they were closer than we were to the scuffles going on. Pathetic. Then the stewards stood in front of us for the rest of the game blocking a lot of the pitch....thanks you idiots for that. Not that I'll ever expect it but you owe me the cost of two tickets. I hope the so called fans identified are banned for life. What on earth do they think they are achieving acting this way? By the way Matt the Jack was right in it. He'd be able to tell you all more of what happened. I don't expect he would have been impressed.

What I could not understand as the 2 I saw were being taken out by stewards a large portion of Swansea fans clapping and chanting YJBs, why make hero out of these people.

Never knew getting old would happen so quick!

There was room toward the back of the lower tier, you could have moved there to have a better view and get away from the trouble

thanks for that, but why should we have to move? We were very happy where we were as my son was very close to the pitch with an unrestricted view....until the muppets kicked off!
I hope those arseholes employers see those pics too and get sacked!

Sacked for what. PMSL......you see far worse most weekends in every town/ city centre. There wasn't even any fighting and if you were that concerned you would have moved.
