I just found out, and was like what? He took a new job a month ago.

But whatever, that is clearly a better job than being on a board.

So good luck. I always liked him.

In trollope we trust.

Trollope doesnt really have a ring to it does it.

Tan.

No need to thank me.

Edit - you edited the bit that said you'd prefer a foreigner with a snazzy name, but I saw it.

I was on a board once, all 'cos I fell outa a tree.

You're right too on Trollope, it doesn't have a ring, more of a ming imo.

It's strange he's left "with immediate effect" to take another job. Shirley if he's under contract they'd be able to get a bit of bunse for him. Reading between the lines I would suggest he's probably been purged by chairman Tan for not having his birthday on a lucky number or something.

With Paul Trollope w@nk1ng in the snow.

No. I don't like it. They'll have to get a different Head Coach.

Cardiff too high a profile for Giggsy to start imo, he needs to start in L1 or 2.

As low as to go to Cardiff? Nah. That's not ego, that's self-respect.

Giggs? Only an idiot believes that...

We'll probably get Lennie Lawrence back, as Head of Football then. Worked in a similar role with Trollope at Bristol Rovers. Good bloke is Lennie.

Yeah, Lennie's sound. Reminds me a lot of Frankie Burrows, for some reason.

Btw, never got the "Giggs to manage ManU" thing. What managerial experience has he ever had, except sitting next to van Gaal for a couple of seasons? Why would anyone assume that, cos he's spent a career at OT as a footballer, then that qualifies him to manage a football club. And one the size of United, to boot.

Depends.

Slade was given the role due to Tan respecting him. Didn't bs the way some have in the past, worked well to change things around whilst under financial restrictions. Cut the wage bill, left a solid squad for Trollope to improve upon.

It's almost certainly been the case Tan wanted someone around he trusts not to take the p***, with the proviso if a management job came up Slade could persue it.

Tan has shown he purges when needed - Mackay and OGS. Didn't happen in this case.

Slade was not high profile enough for the Capital City bottlers, relegation looms for the deluded fans.

Init. MU have been spoiled having the same bloke there for over 20 years, they're in the same boat as the rest of the glitterati now, churning the same half a dozen or so of the high profile brigade [in management].

For a guy with no money to spend, Slade did a decent job there last year. Far better than I expected him to do.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Fans never loved him.
If I was him, I wouldn't fancy staying at a club where everyone calls you Uncle Fester.
