Bored so this will be interesting...
Will there be a 114 average... or nearer 14...
Would love there to be some quality darts but suspect my view that its full of those not good enough for PDC with the odd quality player willing to play at a lesser level to maximise chances of winning is accurate.

The match on at the moment has the number one seed player. It's not a bad match. Not a great one either.
The problem is the setting and the production. It comes across bush league.
Some wierd arty farty decoration around the board ( C4 influence, no doubt ). Crowd generally quiet as lambs, little atmosphere.
Like Sky or not, they make darts a big event. You've the big stage, the dancing girls, entrance girls. Boisterous crowd, giving great atmosphere. Even if the quality of the players was identical, PDC will always be bigger due to the way you're made to feel you're watching an event. | |
