Assuming more make the trek ... 09:39 - May 7 with 1734 viewsSTID2017

I'm guessing more than the 3,000 will want to go next week.
Reckon they'll open up more seats to the Swans fans to pay on the day.
After all it's money in their coffers towards rebuilding in what will otherwise be a half empty stadium (can't see us being the most attractive fixture for a relegated club TBH - even if it is their last game in the PL for at least a season)

Surely there's a record of away tickets applied for this season. The 3,000 who've attended the most away games, no brainer.

What I'm saying (and hoping is) this is like Preston 36 years on.
Yes the club are giving 3,000 tickets but it's possible many more will want to be there for one of those potential "I was there" moments

Not convinced demand will be huge. Very long trip (done it before a couple of times).

Only 550 tickets sold earlier this week for a huge last away day, tells a story. Hopefully the freebies will stir some into life - if we take 3000 we will be doing well

I hope nobody doesn't take a free ticket then not make the trip.

I'll be shocked if we take 3000 up there, as big a game as it is......

Be great for the team to see that many there mind.

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

Daft question, but do you just have to turn up at the ticket office to get tickets, or if you order online will you get a refund? Any help gratefully received

Plus you'll probably have to travel on the official coaches too.

Unlikely over 3,000 will make the trip. Reasons:

Game is available on streams and many pubs. Not like they have been for many 'major' games we've had.
Hell of a journey.
At this late time, flights, and especially trains will be very expensive.
Is there enough time for pop & crisps brigade to organise an extra 40 coaches (50 x 40 = 2,000)?

I'm sorted, I'm going.

Trying to purchase 2 tickets online, says you have to contact the ticket office, anyone else having the same problem?

After yesterdays match at the Liberty, the Sunderland game is on track to be one of the best away matches the Swans have had in years. If we can fill Wembley easily for the big games with 40,000 travelling fans, there may be a big demand, especially as there will be no more football again until August.

It may be one of those 'I was there' games. If there were unlimited seats available and with free tickets, I think it could attract 5 to 6,000. Distance is the only thing that would stop 10,000 odd going, but free tickets could make the difference...

I cannot go so if anyone wants to use my JA membership. Only available to posters though, no first timers, and I don't mean those posters that hang on the wall either.

Been to Sunderland, yeah it's a long journey but the upcoming game up there IS one of those extremely rare 'once-in-a-blue-moon' occasions where the result is of absolutely mega-significance. Games like that do not come around to often.

I assume the atmosphere up there will be absolutely superb!
