Win or lose tomorrow, it's evident we have a manager / head coach who is incapable of actually positively coaching the players at his disposal.
It's unsurprising to see him desperately trying to revert to players who were around him when he experienced his only notable success as a coach.
Nevertheless, it is appearing obvious that his 'success' was a result of the outstanding level of talent that was available to him in that England U17 side compared to other teams in the competition, rather than his tactical and coaching skills. |  |
