I read some of the insults, both racial and defamatory yesterday.
I’ve since noticed that possibly fifty or so have been removed. Honestly the prisons are going to be chocka with basement dwellers and people who have gotten away with online and social media abuse so they see it as a green light to continue. Sometimes it takes days, sometimes weeks and even years to gain sufficient evidence against online abusers, but eventually with technology as it is today it will happen.
And that comforts me a lot. |  |

My son said something bad to someone on whatsapp and we got a police visit but what he said when comared to this social media stuff was nothing. I don;t know why they are allowd to get away with it for so long.
My opinion, for too long the government and police have been going too soft on low level crime and people think there's no comeback for the things they say. Standards have been allowed to drop because of poor funding, poor staffing AND poor management and its left us all hovering above a scummy pool where utter nobodies feel they can do what they want withoutfear of punishment.
