The local rag is incorrect, 100%. Remember this is a clever man who words things very well. A dimwit local journalist on a local rag clearly doesnāt get it. Example. Chico didnāt chase Garry Monk with a brick ? The Swans said he didnāt too. Because it was a āhalf brickā

It is a myth. The Trust had not arranged their ducks and everyone knew they were not able to sell without a mandate they did not ask for. They did not ask for a mandate in 2015 because their policy was not selling their shares. Their board wanted extra shares not less. It was a horrible mistake by them. Huw and co put two groups of US buyers in front of them with bulging wallets. With buyers circling in early 2015 one would have thought they might have asked their member for their views on selling but they did not. They said their shares were not up for sale. They are good at PR and very poor at financial management. They have a lot of sympathy from fans but no big money. You model which was reported on forums was tested. The Trust had six years to back up this claim and found no one would back it with cash. They have covered their failures by blaming the sellers and US people. Good at PR. The fans were easy meat. Coleman has a PR guru with him now to navigate treacherous waters. He is putting out he feels the fans pain as much as them and is fully invested. Offers were made but rejected or out bid. Perhaps a Ā£500k for Evans rejected by Huw and for the Scottish guy. They have been burned badly before.

"Ruining the forum" for you maybe. It is strange I do not get a lot of love here and quite a bit of abuse but when it is time for votes seem to be quite popular with the silent majority. The way I read it this forum like some of the inferior competitors, have a clique of flag waver and ex patriots who are high profile that are pro English and anti Welsh and anti American as it happens. They do not like their narratives contested. An uncontested narrative leads to the mess the Trust got into paying 'foreign' lawyers and co Ā£400,000 and wasting 6 years of everyone's time, with no apologies or statement of "lessons learned". We live mono political land of south Wales. Alternative views are not welcome some might say. We love a committee. "passed unanimously." [Post edited 4 Feb 17:12]

You may be popular with people who donāt contribute, but trust me, if there was a poll to see who should be booted from the forum, youād get a lot more votes than you did for poster of the year. You even managed to crowbar the trust into that.

Fans are owners of Swansea city football club. They have a shared responsibility in decision making and outcomes. Fans are very uncomfortable with ownership and responsibility because they are in the main not up to the job academically. If they are not up to the job they should sell up and leave it to the professionals (US citizens i this case). In the period 2016 -2022 they took a confrontational stance and ended up Ā£400k out of pocket and 6 years wasted. They failed to cash in the lottery ticket, to win Ā£20m. I am the only one angry about this. It is bizarre.

Absolutely not. It was done to death at the time. Nobody brings Tony Petty or Bob Bradley up on here anymore either. They both caused uproar. The trust is a powerless non entity. No amount of whinging can turn the clock back. Everyone else on (and off) the forum accepts that. Anyway, youāve proved my point. Trust - sheep chants - Gyokore. Rinse and repeat

It's a shame that Chico didn't catch him. Could have saved us a lot of problems.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

Always a stain somewhere in any business dealing. Certain fans are just annoyed because this lot over the last seven years canāt deliver. Or should I say they have delivered because we are in the championship and have been here for quite a while, I suppose it depends on how you view what goes on around you.

Iāve often read this ā ruining the forumā Itās arse wrenching crap but it gives comdocorg for those who see themselves as somehow pre eminent on this forum when it comes to visceral football knowledge Donāt like a poste, ignore. Simple enough but itās hard to do. I fail myself and too often respond to those clearly following a hate line ,although this is denied. I donāt agree with resolves on much but heās articulate and makes me think and he aināt boring ,which many back slapping ,great posting all agreeing ones canāt handle . To his credit,he normally refrains from snide ,personal remarks which many specialise in but questioning these is guaranteed unpleasantness . The match thread a classic example Too many fail to understand the people you would most enjoy a drink with are those with whom you disagree. Iām thinking of angry, and Resolven . These posters challenge Posters wanting a comfortable forum where all agree turn my guts G day .

His value after his goal against Man U will have increased significantly & brought him to the attention of a lot more clubs. I suspect Cardiff will be in for him

Standard. To address some of that. Yes itās boring and in my view ruins the forum. Have a look how many unrelated threads heās crowbarred the sheep, trust and Gyokores subjects into. If that entertains you, itās your prerogative. Yes heās articulate, no he doesnāt resort to name calling, unless you count things like āSaesā which to me is just as trivial as the sheep chants. He does sometimes make thought provoking posts about football and his knowledge of the development teams is up there with anyones. Angry jack, again, I donāt agree with him much, but he puts decent points across and backs them up with logic. Pre-eminent visceral football knowledge. Thatās certainly not me, there are plenty on here I learn from. Resolven is actually one of them when heās not regurgitating the same old stuff. Not everyone, but every board like this is going to have one or two empty vessels. Everyone agree. Of course not, that would be boring. I disagree with Dr. Winston a lot, but heās one of the best posters on here IMO.
