That win yesterday was potentially HUGE in terms of moral. Yes, we've been under performing in the majority of games so far this season and only producing patches of what we're capable of - but those 3 points and our great 2nd half performance will hopefully kick us on to better things.

Exactly. How can you use bad form 6 months ago to justify moaning today. Our recent form and performances have been on the up. Whilst it may be easier to post threads like this after we win, I think you will find that there are many similar posts on here posted after we lose and play badly, as there are maybe a few folk who realise that its 38 games that count, and those 38 games started in August not February. We have been bad (by bad i mean below our usual standards) in large parts from the cup final onwards. Until last week i dont even think we averaged a point a game from that time... or if we did, just barely. Results and performances went awry. There has been some unsettling stories coming out of the club overnthe summer, and overlapping into this season and some curious goings on with our £13m player largely getting splinters in his arse while we couldnt hit a cows arse with a banjo.
I dint think anyone can have any arguments regarding the last 135 mins of football. The signs are good, very good. But that doesnt cancel out reasons to be concerned at the time by the points ive just highlighted. [Post edited 24 Nov 2013 9:58]

Absolutely ECB. That's all some of you guys do on here is back yourselves into corners because 'you're right'. So when we win the OP and his kind are right, when we lose, the likes of Perchrock are 'right'. Guess what? You're both wrong. We need to SUPPORT the club when we lose... yes, of course, debate and criticise but all to often we have to go over the top in both scenarios. Why do we have to slag off & dismiss the likes of Shelvey when they have a mare? He scored the winner yesterday so the Shelvey brigade just had to bump the pro-Shelvey thread up again. No doubt somebody will bump that back up (and probably this thread too) when he drops a clanger again.
FFS... All we do is create divisions on here and it pisses me off. If you look deeper than Warwick Hunts 'colourful language' you'll hardly ever see him dismiss/write off one of our own so cheaply as some of you lot.
