France playing a dead rubber game compared to a quarter final knock out game will be a different side all together. The AB's will not fancy playing France as they always struggle against them and they are not playing up to their normal standards. | |

I've just watched the game in a bar in Platanais, Crete with four French people. They were spitting feathers, said everyone in France can't wait for Phillipe St Andre to feck off, the new coach is ex Toulouse high achiever apparently.
One guy said the French team haven't been right for four years, no flair any more, no running rugby. On tonight's evidence, I have to agree with him. Big strong guys, very strong defenders, but they made so many basic errors that the Irish were constantly re-gaining possession and coming at them. Bound to wear any team down in the end.
If they are not to get a good stuffing by the Kiwis, they need to up their game 100%.
