Labour in talks with UKIP ? 16:13 - May 12 with 1209 views | trampie | News outlets and political journalists reporting on Labour being in talks with UKIP, Labour have been in alliance with UKIP in Norwich, so they have history together, so watch this space. Considering the number of seats Labour have you would not expect that they would not have to get involved with UKIP but there again they are not called Red Tories for nothing.

Steel industry you say, the Labour party has been in power for 17 years in Wales and for some of that time in Westminster, Labour has not done much for the Steel industry in all that time, where have Labour been ?, they are trying to say they could do wonders for the Steel industry in the last day or so are they ?.............ha ha ha, that's the best joke and worst attempted Labour spin I have heard all day.

Where have plaid been? Talking fantasy politics and offering no real solutions. Welsh labour have been taking action for the steel industry for the last 6 years while the UK government has done little to halt its decline. There is only one party spinning and it's the one dying on its @rse in front of the people of Wales.

Port Talbot is one of the last large-scale steelworks in Britain, but yeh, in your mind Labour have done nothing. Curious then why the steelworkers unions would support Labour and sent out election leaflets in support of Welsh Labour as well....
Labour in talks with UKIP ? on 18:01 - May 12 with 1058 views | trampie | Labour aren't up to the job of running Wales, pity they are the largest party at the moment, but at their current rate of decline it would not be a big surprise if in say 10 years time Labour will no longer be the biggest party in Wales.

Labour in talks with UKIP ? on 18:31 - May 12 with 1015 views | trampie | Plaid wanted to nationalise/part nationalise it months ago, Labour didn't want to know until very recently, now Labour and the Conservatives with their proposed 25% stake are following behind Plaid's lead of trying to do something, pity Plaid weren't in charge otherwise the Steel industry would have had some help a lot sooner.

The Welsh government doesn't have the financial capacity to nationalise but hey ho!
Labour in talks with UKIP ? on 18:41 - May 12 with 973 views | trampie | But the Westminster Government does and they are apparently prepared to take a 25% stake and a lot of that was down to Plaid lobbying.

Yes it was down to Plaid. Of course Cameron et al see Plaid as a true force of realism, honestly and greatness, people to be listened to. And not a complete and utter irrelevance as most in Wales see them. Plaid are also going to cure cancer, get Wales to win the Euros and resurrect the dead a la Jon Snow in Game of Thrones.

Labour in talks with UKIP ? on 18:55 - May 12 with 943 views | trampie | A strong Plaid is good for Wales because they put Wales and Welsh interests first, obviously the big Westminster parties in Wales are often compromised between Wales, London and the UK.

What are you talking about? Leanne Wood hasn't been involved in the discussions between the Welsh Government and Westminster regarding the steel crisis. You know why? Because Plaid were/are not in the Welsh Government. Again, the steelworkers unions completely disagree with you and I think I trust their knowledge a bit more than yours on this subject.
