Life goes on and the terrorists are up to their games as usual. 10 dead and 20 injured so far. I noticed the bombs have againgone off again on the approach to the security scanners. Without doubt the most unsafe place to be in an airport.

To help the other guy out,
Help your fellow man.

I wouldn't describe their actions as games, especially when people's loved ones are sent to oblivion on the whim of some misguided lunatics.
The saddest part is that it seems impossible to counter the threat.
Indeed I agree with you. It was a figure of speech as I am sure you realise. Like you my sympathies goes out to all the families of those who are killed, those who have been injured and those caught up in the turmoil. It must be terrible for everyone caught up in it. I was just clumsily making the point that, despite all our troubles, even bigger ones continue regardless.

Yes I do realise it was a mere slip. I agree with your sentiments.

Only a short drive across the border from Syria and Iraq.
Was absolutely rammed with journalists and media crews travelling on and covering the Middle East when I was there.
A BBC news reporter must have just landed before the bombs went off. He is reporting form the aircraft as they obviously can't disembark at the moment.

So there goes Turkeys tourism industry along with Egypt's and Tunisia's! The people whom will be hit the hardest economically will indeed be Muslims, insane really if it was ISIS were responsible for this one?

I'm in the US now & the latest reports here are at least 36 dead and over 140 injured.
Absolutely horrendous an almost 'carbon copy' of the Brussels airport attack. The news channels out here have just shown a 'graphic video' of one of the gunmen being shot in the terminal building then blowing himself up by detonating his suicide belt. Never seen that level of graphic content in a news report before quite shocking.
Luckily, we'll be able to work with our closest neighbours to continue to develop and implement our common counter terrorism strategy and policy to help keep us all safe.
Ah.

Ah.
Brexit ,will not alter our Intelligence relationships with Europe, USA or even the Russians come to that! Unfortunately we have too much in common in regards to terrorism to let the events of the vote to come between us.

It's not insane when you realise IS is a political movement. It has everything to do with power and money and nothing to do with religion. The religious stuff is simply a cover. Destroying the economies of Moslem countries to separate them from the West and drive them to helpless poverty makes it easier to find people to fight for them. Hence Egypt, Tunisia, Turkey, etc etc.
An awful attack on a lovely country.

I'd have kept our F@cking noses out of it from the start .
YOU ?
So....with the civil war in Syria raging on and spilling over borders into neighboring states...Islamic jihadis romping around the Levant murdering men and subjecting those left to unspeakable cruelty....creating millions of refugees spilling into Europe (risking their lives and their childrens on the route) destabilising our society and all the associated costs.....
....your solution is to do N-O-T-H-I-N-G. Sweet fukk all.
and you think this position means you are; a) smart and b) moral
Do you know what you are? Neville Chamberlain and the rest of the shit houses pre-WWII.
Yeah, fukk all those poor people being subjected to violence and murder over there. Let's just crack on with implementing Jeremy Corbyn's manifesto.
The problem with that is the old line about; "First they came for the Communists And I did not speak out Because I was not a Communist Then they came for the Socialists And I did not speak out Because I was not a Socialist Then they came for the trade unionists And I did not speak out Because I was not a trade unionist Then they came for the Jews..."
What Would you do seems a question of the present. Pointless looking back as to the causes while innocent this ands are butchered.
No doubt corbyn would talk to them in the same vein as other terrorists Mcguiness Adams.
True we should have and should leave Islamist nutters and sects alone. Ideally have them have a massive straightener well away from civilisation.. Which is us.
They have butchered indiscriminately at Istanbul.
E It's not because the west has shoved it's nose into their conflicts more a case of them being sub human religious zealots.
