Evening chaps. Had a fella round to quote some work on the roof. He said that one of his client's had ordered the 'hog roll' gutter brush stuff to stop the guttering getting clogged up online, he said it was over half the price than from his supplier. Any ideas where I might find it as given that he's up there, he might as well plonk some up there.
Check out Amazon, its about £13 a length including vat. If you go to Travis Perkins ask the for a discount, if they say not buy it on line.
I have this stuff in my guttering because of the trees at the back of the house, it keeps the leaves out but when you get a really really heavy downpour the guttering can overflow because there is less room to take the water.

For some reason that video has etched the vision of you wearing tailored shorts and boots (like Rufus) and simultaneously swigging from a magnum of Malbec whilst dancing!

Cheers - got five lengths of it for 44 quid and two for 23 quid. The roofer said that was the cheapest. Lets just hope it arrives on time!

Do you happen to have the same problem as me where moss is the causative problem? I have to clean my gutter on a regular basis (every 1 - 2 yrs depending on weather conditions)it rolls down from the roofing tiles and blocks.
What an absolute pain. Your thread topic may indeed be very helpful!

It was flagged on the home buyers survey we had when we were going through the conveyance. We've had a roofer come round and he's cleaning the moss/gutters, replacing cracked tiles, pointing/re-bedding and sorting some flashing out. Next door has some of the hog roll so hopefully that'll sort the problem for a while!

TBH I'd never heard of it before, it looks interesting!
