Door wont shut tightly, probably the hinges need adjusting or perhaps renewing. | |

Know this is not exactly the answer to your question Fath, but when the Mrs snapped the hinges on our chest freezer, I got new ones from http://www.partmaster.co.uk/
Was just a couple of screws and easy to do, and saved me a call out charge/new freezer. Might be worth a DIY attempt |  |

Know this is not exactly the answer to your question Fath, but when the Mrs snapped the hinges on our chest freezer, I got new ones from http://www.partmaster.co.uk/
Was just a couple of screws and easy to do, and saved me a call out charge/new freezer. Might be worth a DIY attempt |

I found some time and I fixed it myself. The problem was a hinge at the bottom of the door which had come loose thus allowing the door to drop and therefore the seal wasn't closing as it should. A few twists of a trusty phillips head and hey presto it was fixed. It's all sealed nice and snugly now. Let's hope it doesn't happen again.
If you've got a fridge which is faulty you could do what I did.
