| News Comment | Leighton James : His own football revolution by Thrasher6 at 20:38:16
Fantastic piece....you kow for me he was a West Walian at heart. Loved his roots...when his talent took him him to other places...you knew he would gravitate back here. He was a great winger...we were two classic wingers.. Tommy Hutchinson and Leighton...(Tommy would rightly say who was the best..). He was very very good... |

He is a Wales u21 international and played alongside Josh Thomas. He has kicked on and Josh has done ok. He is thinking of switching to Scotland apparently. He is a fast aggressive forward like Josh. He "scored" the winner for Luton in the play off only to see it ruled out by VAR. |
| News Comment | Ogbeta out in the cold … Nothing from the Swans as his contract is due to expire by ncswan at 21:36:52
Who in the Swans hierarchy allows this to happen? Goodness sakes, at least try them on for size and see if the shoe fits! Ogbeta, Kukharevych, Whittaker, Gyokeres, who else? Wasteful and not helpful, and in the latter two could have led to multi-million sales.. Drives me nuts when I see/read about how managers & admin recruiting dept can't get on the same page. IMO, a lot of the blame has to be directed at the manager for not even giving these youngsters a chance to show what they can do. |
| News Comment | Major injury blow plus Williams puts his squad on notice by ncswan at 16:11:25
In the past, Grimes has been Mr. Steady Eddie, a dependable passer & leader on the field who directs the flow of the game for his team. Lately, he hasn't been on top of his game, but neither have a lot of his teammates. Captaincy in my opinion should be decided by the manager and the team, and not by fans. Of course, we fans can criticize captains, just like we criticize the manager, players, & administration at times. Swans need 6 points from the next two games, period! |

Will agree, Ayew was class, however the short sightedness of the majority owners even at that time ensured there was no progress. Getting rid of a manager in Steve Cooper after two play offs in a row as valid an example as there is in recent times. Shambles as we said post match on Saturday. |

Agree and suggest the player who is wheeled out with the usual guff about must do better and disappointed blah blah blah is wheeled out again after the next match for the explanation as to why they didn't do what they said they should. If I blame anyone in the final analysis it is us the fans who keep attending the matches to support a team that doesn't care, a manager who clearly can't motivate them and owners who are absent. Did they come for the Swansea Cardiff match? As for Ayew he was the difference in the team when he played and was the best in the league and always gave 100% Despite his size he was the one who headed the ball away the most when defending and didnt fall over every time he got the ball like someone I could mention. Oh and he knew where the goals were and that the keeper was not the target. My advise stop going and don't buy the season tickets as otherwise you will have to write this article again next season. |

Coleman is actually rarely seen speaking publicly. . He is accountable for the performances and he will get sacked if he cannot turn It around. He and Watson have made too many mistakes and need to rectify them soon. |
| News Comment | Swansea City : Are the club going to wriggle out of another forum with unanswered questions ? by ncswan at 19:14:53
Sorry to hear that your daughter's brain cancer is diagnosed as terminal. My youngest brother had a glioblastoma (terminal brain cancer). Unfortunately for him, he and his daughter died tragically in an auto accident in 2011. He was 49 and she was only 17, a wonderful child, neice, and cousin and great friend to my #2 son who was the same age, same school. Keep up the pressure on this bunch! Swansea FC fans deserve better, and so does your website! |
| News Comment | Swansea City : It’s time to learn and progress by sw02sea at 10:18:31
All I’ll say as far as Joe Allen and Kyle Naughton are concerned is, injuries seem to come more frequently, and take longer to recover from, when you’re older. We seem to have more coaches than National express, so can we afford to take a chance on Paying them while they learn how to manage/ coach, while taking a chance of them not incurring more injuries ? |
