"I'd love to know as to what Mr Morris feels about it all, I wonder if they even informed him, they surely would need to." All depends what his working relationship with them is. Has he worked with them or any of their associates before? Why did he buy share separately and not part of the group.? Why was he interested? Who introduced him to the club? I'd be very surprised if he didn't go into it with his eyes wide open. We can ignore football as this is all about business, and profit (or maybe tax loss) |

I'm assuming that their share and the legacy voting rights may give them the 75.1% The small percentage not in those figures may also vote with them |

Does the voting rights of some of the previous owners already give them that now ? |

I'd hope there are better options out there. He is a very hot/cold type of player and at the moment looks as if he is only a sub and not a starter. |
| Forum Thread | Swans to head to Austria for pre-season at 18:33 15 Apr 2024
Swans to head to Austria for pre-season Swansea City will head out to Austria this summer for a pre-season training camp this summer. The Swans are set to spend a week out on the continent, before jetting back just before the start of the season. With the Swans all but securing Championship safety, further details of the trip are likely to be ironed out soon, but it seems likely they will also play a couple of games during their stay. "We've got games lined up and we've a week away together to try and train really intense," Williams said "There will be a couple of games and then we'll come back and have one probably more game then into the season. "I don't like too hot because you can't train properly. Somewhere in Europe that's not blistering hot for me is good. "Then you have organised teams. Some of the things you hear, teams going somewhere wonderful but the pitch was terrible and the other team didn't realise that that was the level. Not on time, things like this. "Austria you know things are going to be civilised, organised, and well catered for. It's a good one for me." https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/swansea-city-transfer |

https://www.swanseacity.com/news/club-update-andy-coleman-3 With that in mind, we will soon be announcing a new initiative where I will be making myself available to supporters for one hour, twice a month, during the season and moving forward. During these ‘Audience with the Jack Army’ sessions, each of you will have the ability to reserve times to sit and meet with me one-to-one to discuss any matters you think to be relevant to the club. I haven't heard of anyone that has attended, but at the back of my mind Coleman also said the questions and answers would be published - I could be wrong |

Very close to my thoughts and feelings Keith. Apart from the Covid lockdown this season is the least amount of games I've seen live. I (we) will be there Saturday but it's more down to being our last game this season and a day out. There has very little to get excited about on the pitch, and I've seen many 'poorer' players put in more effort over the years in the lower divisions. As far as off file matters - yes it's the same script by players we must do better. Repeat and repeat. As far as the ownership? Trust was not there from the start, and then needed to be earned, in my opinion I've seen or heard very little to have any confidence that things will improve. |

Exactly 2 points from the link "The members’ vote in 2019 gave the Trust Board the mandate to pursue legal action and also to settle the claim if appropriate. The Trust has said on numerous occasions that it is willing to listen to offers that could lead to a settlement and so avoid the need for legal action – which was always seen as a last resort." " In June 2021, the non-binding heads of terms for funding and insurance appeared broadly adequate. As the details of the funding agreement were being discussed, it became apparent that the funder required the Trust to commit potentially all of its own resources to pursue the case to conclusion once the funder’s budget had been exhausted, however long or costly the legal action would be and including the costs of a potential appeal." Just like an MOT things were at a point in time and can and did change as more information came to light with detailed discussions for funding. The thought that the buyers would have paid £21m for the Trust shares is nonsensical as they had no need to due to having voting rights from the other sellers |
