Personally want Wealdstone at home or Slough Town away.

Both possible banana skins - but lets face it we could get drawn against my old schools girls under 11s side and be on the end of an unfirtunate reverse.

Am expecting all those who dont make selection even for the Development Side to be selected and that would be the case, even if we are drawn away to one of the mighty from the premier league.

For me, if you are reading Christian, Julien or even you Ben Williams, we really actually do want to see our favourite players selected for this one.

Just once lets take it seriously.


It would do wonders for fan engagement and brownie points all round for those in charge.


But we all sadly can predict the eventuality....

Don’t they still shift a whole load of it to Sunday whether it’s televised or not so they can air a “live goals show”?


I think that's still a thing, the FA shift a load of games to suit "our overseas broadcast partners" (and as you say, give a broadcaster a goals as they go in show) to the detriment of us mugs actually in the stadium

There is a midweek Prem programme the days before, West Ham play Tuesday.

It's gonna be Sunday at noon, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm and maybe even 7/8pm I think but Thurs/Fri/Sat/Mon evening are not out of the question.

Given Charlton v Chelsea will probably be the main Sunday game I’d have thought us being on Saturday is quite likely and they rarely put middling Prem teams at home to lower league teams on UK TV at least. Miiiiilll and Palace both away.



Anyway you’re in my seat. Aunt Beatrice has had this seat every time we’ve played West Ham away since 1927.

Gone a bit awry now, I've just got a letter giving me a CT scan on the Friday 2nd January, I'm a bit edgy now regarding train and match tickets In case the scan gets moved 24 hours into the Saturday, my last CT scan appointment got cancelled at the last minute and I had to go all the way to Banbury hospital Instead, that's why I was asking earlier when do they come out with the fixture changes.
I'm quite sure nobody on here Is Interested but I've had three hospital appointments for next year cancelled and the dates moved back to December 2026, I'm okay with that It's unfortunate but they're you go.

The cup game wont get sold out so with a bit of luck we might just be able to turn up on the day and get In.

'Kens Cafe' was the borstal daddy of all Upton Park cafe's Ted. Situated along Green street just before the ground. went in there every lunchtime from school as a kid, Ken was still frying until 2020 at the age of 89 when he finally hung up his spatula.

He had 1ooo's of different dishes plastered all over walls but they all tasted like Grandads cooking from 'only fools'. Terrible.

When the old man East ham Dave passed away xmas 2019 , i was arranging his funeral across the road from cafe and popped in, Ken sorted me out with a full English, passed on his condolences via an extra portion of bubble and squeak , he was a man of few words.

Problem was, it was bloody lovely and i got choked up a bit thinking of Rodney saying he couldn't eat his dinner that Del cooked him at Grandads wake because' it tastes nice' and Del telling him he 'tried to bugger it up like grandad'.

anyway West ham away.. Magic. Man alive i wish this game was at the old Boylen and not at this new mothercare shiny plastic shitpot.

One is going through a major identify crisis with a fan base that is a parody of itself, playing in one of the worst stadiums in the country that represents so much of what is wrong with the sport and our nation more broadly. The other, a club that has shown total disdain for the cup and the idea of competing in a competitive sport, also the proud owners of the worst record in the 3rd round.

Been there twice and didn’t find it too bad at all getting back to the tube. Certainly easier than Upton Park was. Once went there for a 12:30 game with a Newcastle mate and made it to Loftus Road for a forgettable draw with Hull for about 3:15.
