No, they are superstars hand picked to raise the profile and commercial income of the club.
Sure they own shares (I’d imagine bought at a very competitive price), but they aren’t run of the mill investors, there’d have been no publicity if they were.
Modric I can understand as he’s always been an understated character who just commands respect for what he’s done on the pitch.

You could argue that only Galbraith has been the most consistent performer. I expected better from Idah and Burgess. I reserve judgement on Wales, Casey, and Widell since they have not played enough games.
Another player you have not mentioned is Inoussa

Not sure what fans want. The amount of experience and players that left was crazy. For me Benson is the only one that really hasn't worked. Yalcouye showed glimpses, but not sure if by what Matos is coming out with if he feels he is working hard enough? You could see him slightly sulking in the background with his arms crossed in the latest inside Swans video in the dressing room. Who knows what the issue is there. Burgess has been hit and miss, Wales we don't know yet. Other than that no complaints from me. Only complaint is our performance and who is to blame for that who knows. | | | |

The only one I'd say hasn't worked at all has been Benson. There's not even been flashes of quality from him. All of the rest you can point to moments, OK, perhaps not many, that there's something there.
I think if we'd gone into this season trying to play like we did last season instead of abandoning it for reasons known only to Sheehan and O'Dea we'd be doing better than we are. There's definitely something for Matos to work with IMO. | |
