I’m still waiting for this ‘other day’ because not taking our chances has been the story of our season so far. Up until last week we’d done enough but the last 2 games have highlighted the need for us to be more composed and clinical in front of goal.
If Idah had scored at 1-0 we may still have lost, we’ll never know but it may have been a completely different game. |

For whatever reason we made it far too easy for them today.
But, if we were 2-0 up after 8 mins at home I wouldn’t be as confident that we’d put 5 over them. We couldn’t even get a consolation today.
I didn’t see this happening today. I wasn’t confident of a win but thought we’d get a draw but I got that wrong.
Matos has a job ahead of him having to prise those chins off the ground before next Saturday. Blackburn are no mugs. There will or should be changes. |

That’s been one of the most inept, disinterested, pathetic performance I’ve seen in some time, especially under Matos. What on earth went wrong there. We couldn’t do any of the v=basics right.
Defensively shambolic. Don't forget, this was the best defence in the league at 3-00. They were woefully slow and disorganised.
Deliveries into their box were awful as well. Tymon had his worst game ever in a Swans shirt I’d say but I’m not singling him out.
The midfield battle was men against boys and as often happens in those circumstances, we were devoid of any luck with the bounce of the ball.
Matos has to earn his money this week as the body language on most of our players for the bulk of the game showed how much the confidence has been stripped from them.
Some churlish people may say that QPR weren’t even that good. Not me, I thought they were excellent. They played with energy, were well organised and most importantly took their chances. They deserved it without a shadow of a doubt.

That won’t be popular with some but I can’t argue with you. The fact we’ve not convincingly beaten poor teams has said to me we are not as good as our league position suggested. Some mixed results coming up I’d say. But hey, as long as we beat Cardiff!😒 |
