Lando Norris did some pre-season assessments in Swansea organised by McLaren I believe this year. Getting teams and individuals of that calibre coming here on a regular basis because it’s a centre of excellence would be enormous. I hope the teams thrive off it, the Swans and Ospreys particularly.

Some of these fring players who will be used in this player rotation need to get minutes in coming off the bench. I’m thinking of Iorpenda, Stewart and Monga in particular. They need to get up to speed before they are asked to step in for longer periods in a game.

I’m still waiting for this ‘other day’ because not taking our chances has been the story of our season so far. Up until last week we’d done enough but the last 2 games have highlighted the need for us to be more composed and clinical in front of goal.

If Idah had scored at 1-0 we may still have lost, we’ll never know but it may have been a completely different game.

For whatever reason we made it far too easy for them today.

But, if we were 2-0 up after 8 mins at home I wouldn’t be as confident that we’d put 5 over them. We couldn’t even get a consolation today.

I didn’t see this happening today. I wasn’t confident of a win but thought we’d get a draw but I got that wrong.

Matos has a job ahead of him having to prise those chins off the ground before next Saturday. Blackburn are no mugs. There will or should be changes.
