One thing Dunk has got similar to Maguire is real bravery on the ball and can start attacks off, also a threat from set pieces.

I agree with you on Branthwaite but can see why Dunk has got in this time.

With that defence I don't think he can play that many attacking players, will be Foden wide with Bellingham, Rice and one other in midfield, possibly Trent or Wharton

Maguire must be injury related but surprised at Grealish, I'd have taken him.
He looked good the other night and offers us something different

Didn't we win that Iran game 6-1?

For the Euro semi final Foden had been playing wide for England and Man City, he was dropped for Saka so I don't think the 2 of them were fighting for the same position. It was Mount or Henderson at the time for the 3rd midfield player.

I used to buy the Sun for the tits, the mad made up stories were entertaining and the Sports pages were usually quite good but haven't bought a paper in years now. Thats not for any strong political feeling just got out of the habit of buying them and don't miss them

If they win there is nothing to stop a state buying one of the clubs you don't like and doing the same thing

And I do agree I much prefer Man City than the other clubs but this is really dangerous if they win this case.

it's absolute madness from Man City, can't see how they win this and does point to this case coming up in October being very bad news for them so they are getting in early

I feel like I've gone back in time. Farage is ranting about immigration and having drinks thrown on him, is it 2016 again

There is not that much difference really, he's good in some games and poor in others for Scotland same as he is with us

it will be the end of June but I do think if we've not heard about an extension by now it's pretty clear he is going

When has he picked Mount over Foden? Mount hasn't been in the squad since the world cup.

The last Euros they both started the tournament and then Saka replaced Foden

He was going to be left out he wouldn't be in this squad same as Henderson, Rashford etc
He did well when he came on, he'll make the squad.

Shaw will go and think Trafford will be the keeper to be left out
I think Gallagher will go as well as back up to Rice

I think the 7 will be Trafford, Dunk, Branthwaite, Quansah, Jones, Eze or Gordon, Toney,

A lot depends on injuries though

I think he might miss out, Grealish looked good and Gordon gives us the option to play as an out and out winger and can play up front. Just so many options and that left back issue means that Gomez probably gets in the squad as an extra defender

Even if he goes I doubt he'll play, Wharton was the one tonight who impressed the most.
Would start him with Rice and TAA in midfield on Friday

Grealish hasn't played much lately and then made the second goal and helped set up the 3rd. Thought he was really good

So hard to get in this squad, Eze is up against Palmer, Gordon, Grealish and Foden. I think him and Bowen may miss out this time

don't buy that at all, if anything will cost him it was that he was part of a quite lethargic first half, that and he's up against some really good players in the same position. Southgate is cautious as every manager is but the slow build up is usually due to the opposition putting everyone behind the ball so very little space to play in and first half we had no width at all with Eze, Bowen and Palmer all wanting to come inside

yeah agree on Konsa, he's had a good game.

Eze was excellent first half and when we upped tempo a bit after half time we looked a lot better, TAA running the game in midfield

Quite a tough job to get this squad down to 26
