Ipswich Match Fred 11:46 - Sep 9 with 12878 viewsFDC

In all my many illustrious years on LFW I've never started one of these. This could be infamous.

How on earth has Connolly not been booked today. Must be 7 or 8 fouls.

But who cares? Rangers win! Thoroughly deserved, great second half performance.

How Connolly got through that without even a yellow is a mystery.

Well done Rangers, should have scored more than 2 and ended up being nervy, but dominated most of the second half.

Hope Wash scores again soon, played well but snatched at a few chances.

Again, I really like this shape and looks like the players know their role.

Surely time's nearly up?

Yay Mrs R from Afar confirms it is! Marvellous well done Rangers!

Great 3 points, typical QPR to put us through the ringer at the end. Just once it'd be nice not to have to change my under garments at full time.

Just on my way back from the game.

Best I've seen us play in ages, and scoreline was very generous to Ipswich, who I thought were extremely poor.

Anyone who can't see the value in Luongo is mad. Really did deserve the goal he came painfully close to scoring on multiple occasions.

Interplay between Massimo, Freeman, Pawel and Scowen is a joy. Freeman goal also brilliant but that is less of a surprise.

Mackie finish excellent and both he and Washington work extremely hard.

New chap unlucky not to score which was a shame!

Also thought we looked solid at the back but hardly tested so wouldn't judge against this lot. The only came alive in stoppage time.

I remember that free kick. The ref placed the ball whilst Pompey keeper set up his wall and as the ref marched off the 10 yards for the wall Fenwick moved the ball about 18-24" to the right and scored direct from it. The wall realised what he had done and went ballistic at the ref to try to make him take it again. Fat chance!

The grass is always greener.

Thought Mass was absolutely outstanding today - hardly put a foot wrong. Just kept bouncing back whenever he was knocked off the ball or pushed over. He broke the post-international break hoodoo!

The quartet of Luongo, Freeman, Scowen and Wszolek are undroppable, barring injuries. Which is great because finally we've got a solid core of players to build on, something we've lacked since Warnock's day.

Who'd have thought that with the form of Manning last season? Good to hear things are developing so well

Another good performance.

I found it surprising that Robinson was one of the centre backs rather than wing back, but after he settled into the game he looked quite at home.

Time to open a bottle & relect on how wonderful life is tonight for us Rangers fans living in Ipswich/Suffolk!
