What a nasty piece of work that Barton seems to be.

There are some astute observations when he is playing analyst on a live match, which is fair enough. Good for him. He is no fool. But then there is this underlying needle and confrontational style in that sing song scouse claim which is beyond irritating.

Bang on Shotknees . Both are grade A w@nkers and only got the gig by being spiky and edgy - ie being controversial for the sake of it . I would prefer to eat my own sick than listen to either of them esp Joey the pseudo intellectual who is incredibly loathsome. Article in today's Times after the WBA nonsense mentioning other footballers ' misdemeanours on tour including him when at Man C . He beat up a 15 yo apprentice apparently. Class act Joseph. Just turn the radio off and he goes away-simple!

He stubbed a cigar out in the lad's eye, didn't he?

An overpaid, overrated piece of s**t. I remember some cheering the loser's name when he was announced as starting in our team the season after his sabbatical following his outrageous"behaviour" on that last day at City. Don't forget his "French" interview either. Intelligent, my arse!

Yes very true.
I am sure that just like every other unsavoury incident he was been involved in, Barton himself is utterly blameless.

He also said that Hill or Derry told him to smack Aguero after he was sent off at Man City so I wouldn't believe a fücking word that came out of his mouth. A total oxygen thief.

The grass is always greener.

Dreadful player for us for various reasons but I like him on Talksport. Completely different to Savage who will just blurt out complete nonsense when he’s not telling you exactly what you’re looking at.
