20 mins left.

We need to impose out passing and movement on the game more.

If we can manage to do that we'll win.

FT 2-2.

We were lucky to hang on for a point in the end.

Thought we were going to get battered after going 2 - 0 down, so I see that as a really good point.

The match was dictated and played in Gillingham's style.

We were never quite good enough to control the game and play to our strengths.

When we did, we either scored or came very close to scoring.

In short, we seem to be nearly, not not quite, good enough.

It's the central midfield that"s lacking. Not Spearing as he's deeper but the middle 2. First Thompson and Fonz, and then Thompson and Guy. They're just short of being able to dictate play.

We are capable of playing some great football.

There is no way that Gillingham, for example, would be capable of playing in the same style that we aspire to.

I'd say, that as it stands, we'll more than likely be play off material. For automatic, to be properly good, we need to control the game more. If we were capable of dictating central midfield, we could play a passing and moving game and leave the other team chasing shadows.

I think we're close to being able to do that. I think he's probably a bit too old for it but perhaps Charlie was the shout that should have been made.

For me central mid is the key. The rest of the first 11 make good enough team to get automatic.

Steve Evans team, horrible man who's teams reflect his personality.

We were really slick in the second half. The more Gillingham pressed, the more danger we posed. Even when we were under the cosh, we were the team that carved out the clear opportunities. Very happy with that point.
