Rangers well on top in this one, and much improved since the goal.
Warburton's decision to go with only Wells up front seems well justified as a combination of his movement and the neat football on the floor from our five-man midfield is taking the Blackburn back four out of the game.
A subdued crowd have been brought to life by some lovely moves but until the goal I thought we had a lack of control in midfield, not helped by switching Eze out to the left. I would like to see him restored to the centre as he, Wells and the imperious Chair are destroying Blackburn. We need to get them closer together, and in to the centre. at the moment all of our play is down the left.
Back four having an easy day, manning in great form at both ends of the pitch, Rangel looks rusty but very little of the play is coming down his wing so hard for him to play his way into the game. | |

We are good value for our lead and look to be defending with more intensity in higher up the pitch.
We seem to have a real issue finding someone to fill that DCM role. Cameron looking a lot better in there than CB but Scowen looks so edgy on the ball and keeps indicating to the defenders to lump it.
All these teams are super concerned with Eze. As Cardiff did on Wednesday, Blackburn are shutting him down so, so qucik which means there is space around him for Chair, BOS and Wells to exploit.
