Joke!

However, today;

A disallowed goal that should've been,
Three top class saves from their goalie,
A blatant pen not given.

We've got lucky with other results today but need to sort out home form out toot sweet

Last two home matches have been poor. In fact if you look at our home form over the last 12 months it's not good enough.

Don't understand Larry's tinkering over these two matches (No idea what Thompson brings to the table), can't string more than 3 passes together at the moment.

Yes. Gnanduillet is really peeing me off, strolls round the pitch like he’s not got a care in the world. No sign of urgency.

There just seems to be no pattern to the play.

What has MacDonald done wrong. Run over a black cat or something.

Our be'st form coincided with approx the following team - which was understandably tweeked for a tricky away trip to Ipswich.

Back 3.

MacDonald and Feeney wingbacks.

Virtue and Spearing.

Gnanduillet, Delfouenseo, Kaikai up top.

I've just dug out the 'Rate the Players v Shrewsbury' thread.

I did a synthesis of all the ratings we've done so far this season.

All the yes, I'm the big I am, know it alls on this board who've rated the players, collectively regard this as being our best line up at the moment:

"It looks like a back 3 with wing backs.

Spearing and Virtue central / defensive mids.

Kaikai behind a front 2 of Delfounseo and Gnanduillet.

Jak Alnwick
Oliver Turton, Ben Heneghan, James Husband
Jay Spearing, Mattie Virtue
Liam Feeney, Sulley Kaikai, Calum MacDonald
Nathan Delfouneso, Armand Gnanduillet"

There you have it. What we currently think.

Happy Boxing Day lala 🎉

Agree Red and agree Jane. I questioned Thompson when named in the starting XI and think Nug Nugs is ready for a 'break' (which he responds well to).

Spell - I think (hope) Larry is simply rotating the team over the festive period though there were no signs of tiredness that I have seen - unlike last season where it was clear loads of the players were running on empty.

Rotts

Doubt it's rotation, only one change today (Kaikai for Virtue) even though we played 3 days earlier.

I'm baffled about what's going on.

No knee jerk reaction here.

I exercise my right to moan but I think Grayson knows what he's doing and is molding the best of what he's got.

For people like Lala, Red, Rot, and Jane.

Not my style of course.

I see Spell got some wind up toys for Xmas, think you might have broke them already
