Blackpool's updated squad list made public by the EFL 12:06 - Feb 18 with 265 viewsBringBackTheRedRoom

Blackpool have left two spots vacant in their 22-man squad, according to the EFL’s updated squad lists.

Details of squad lists were not made public in the first half of the campaign, but the EFL have now listed the squads for each of the 72 EFL clubs.

The only new name on the squad list, submitted after the closure of the January transfer window, is recent arrival Kevin Stewart.

Players aged 21 or under don’t count towards the 22-man squad limit, hence why loanees Dan Ballard, Elliot Embleton and Ellis Simms aren’t included.

Keshi Anderson remains a part of the squad despite recently undergoing surgery which could keep him out of action for the remainder of the campaign.

Teddy Howe and Oliver Sarkic have been omitted from the squad following their loan moves to Scunthorpe United and Mansfield Town respectively, while MJ Williams has also been taken out following his permanent switch to Bolton Wanderers.

While Jamie Devitt, Ryan Hardie, Calum Macdonald Adi Yussuf all left the club in January, they weren’t named in the club’s original squad list back at the start of the campaign.

Clubs in League One and League Two are able to name 22 players in their squads, although this will drop to 20 for the beginning of next season.

20-man squad list

Keshi Anderson, Kenny Dougall, Marvin Ekpiteta, Luke Garbutt, Daniel Gretarsson, CJ Hamilton, James Husband, Sullay Kaikai, Jordan Gabriel (loan), Bez Lubala, Gary Madine, Chris Maxwell, Demetri Mitchell, Ethan Robson, Kevin Stewart, Jordan Thorniley, Ollie Turton, Matty Virtue, Grant Ward, Jerry Yates
