It's well over 10 years ago now but there was a European match here against Glasgow Celtic. Their fans were nothing short of a huge embarrassment.

Seasiders In Behind Closed Doors Action
Change of Opponent Confirmed
Blackpool’s pre-season preparations continue with a behind-closed-doors friendly this Saturday, albeit against different opposition.
The Seasiders, who were originally due to play Newport County, will now come up against fellow Lancashire side Accrington Stanley.

Meanwhile, the Club can also confirm that a Blackpool XI fixture against Bamber Bridge later this month (30 July) has, unfortunately, been cancelled.
