Halloween/ Horror Films. Your Favourites. 19:35 - Oct 28 with 4483 viewsDiscodroids

With Halloween Coming up, I thought of this clip From Stand Alone Production
'Halloween 3', nothing to do with the rest of the franchise.

Magic.

Also 'Phantasm'was a cracker ... scared the shit out of me when i was 13.

cronenbergs 'The brood' was another.

more recently, i found 'The Banshee Chapter' unnerving'. Lsd experimentation, Cold war Number stations, Synapse distortion....

Uncanny I'm just watching Halloween 3 on Netflix , great film , I can't stand the rest of the franchise!! Sleepy hollow is a good family Halloween film.Also like American Werewolf in London.

AND WHEN I DREAM , I DREAM ABOUT YOU AND WHEN I SCREAM I SCREAM ABOUT YOU!!!!!

Spooky. Watched Halloween 3 last night for the first time.

So awful, I had to watch to the end, and now I can't get that silver shamrock tune out of my head

I haven’t seen that film for years. It’s so bad, it’s good. Lol

I love the ending.

Sod it, I’m putting it on. 🎃🎃

Cannibal Holocaust! Strongest film I've ever seen. And shown at a bar we were at whilst travelling in Vilcabamba in Ecuador. German owner, which might explain it, but oh the horror!

Don't even go there. You have been warned!

I've got the Power.

Watched this again a few months back. Decent

The ending of this film disturbed me for ages. He'll wish he never picked that gun up.

This is good as well. I hate confined spaces.

Not films, but the haunting of Bly Manor and the Haunting of Hill house on Netflix are both very good.

Another shout for The Mist, The Descent and The Thing (one of my absolute faves).

Also can I throw in Alien, The Exorcist, Predator, The Omen;

The Orphanage

Pontypool

And if B movies are more your thing how about;

Zombeavers

Black Sheep

Slither

Obviously Bubba Ho-Tep

Dead Snow

I recommend the black and white version, The Haunting. Same source material, the Shirley Jackson book, but way scarier than the Netflix series. The soundtrack alone is the stuff of nightmares.

A mate has just started doing a podcast on the old horror genre. Sounds like some of you should be on it with the horrific amount of knowledge on show here. Hopefully the link works.

Weird. I love the first one, possibly favourite horror film. The second was so bad, I never bothered with the rest of them...

First time I saw event horizon I had to walk back from my mates house at about 3AM. Not a soul around - was absolutely terrified.
