Congratulations to Jake Daniels on coming out. Takes a lot of bravery for someone to do this in his position, as 32 years without an openly gay professional footballer in England is testament to.
Not a Blackpool fan myself (come on 'udders!) but he has my well wishes and support as well as I'm sure the well wishes and support of millions of football fans across the country and indeed the world today.
Well done, Jake Daniels. Blackpool have a very brave young player that they can be extremely proud of for doing what you've done today. Here's hoping you have a long and successful career.
As a Donny Fan I come in peace; I think its an amazing thing that the young lad has done and hope he gets the support from you and any opposition fans that he deserves. A big well done lad.

Everything’s finally sinking in today and I’m suddenly completely overwhelmed at the amount of positivity I’ve seen for Jake on here. My own brother is inspiring people and I couldn’t be prouder. Thank you for all the supportive messages, it means the world to us all🧡x

There's too much of this stuff surrounding Daniels. He's a youth player and if anything, we should be hearing more about how he's developing on the pitch.
