What is the point of Neil Warnock 18:50 - May 10 with 1995 views | numptydumpty | Links to be new Torquay United manager at 75 Recent appointments seem to last ten matches Not enjoying the pipe and slippers scene is our Neil but keeps giving up with very short term appointments At least it's bit closer to Cornwall than Aberdeen was !!! What is the point of Neil Warnock on 06:34 - May 11 with 1414 views | Toast_R | I think it's a case of having something to get out of bed for at his age. I'm a strong believer in the theory that if you lose that drive in your senior years, your health can decline pretty rapidly.

What is the point of Neil Warnock on 09:20 - May 11 with 1168 views | Juzzie | My grandad kept himself busy when he retired. Edited the village magazine, helped with the library, did odd jobs for the elderly neighbours, looked after his garden regularly etc etc He seemed more busy when he retired than when he did his job! He eventually departed this mortal coil at 96. Definitely something in it I think.
What is the point of Neil Warnock on 10:07 - May 11 with 1088 views | terryb | I don't know if it's true, but I think I read somewhere that he's part of the syndicate that is taking over Torquay, or trying to.
What is the point of Neil Warnock on 19:54 - May 11 with 787 views | numptydumpty | That's interesting Yes can see why he would still wish to do this whilst he is still able Am ten years off retirement and my job now is less stressful a day lower level than when was in 30s and 40s but will still work either part time or volunteering when retired More than likely paid part time as I know that I am always happiest when I have plans and goals etc to focus on. Will probably need extra cash anyhow for a few more years after retirement anyhow I do get it with Warnock and with the level of football and finally a job closer to home will be interesting to see how he gets on. Tbh I can only see this being a success. He is still bit frisky is Neil for a 75 year old chap and sure even today he still loves the buzz [Post edited 11 May 19:55]

What is the point of Neil Warnock on 20:13 - May 11 with 746 views | hantssi | Went down to 4 days from 1st April as I’d just turned 63, agreed with them I can go to 3 days from April next year. Couldn’t see me just giving up, I’m hoping to do at least a year of 3 day weeks and perhaps then work in an outdoor sports shop as that’s my other passion in life. Couldn’t afford it now unfortunately, I had absolutely no idea how little shop workers earn!
