I love Heaven Can Wait with Warren Beatty and James Mason.

And Dil To Pagal Hai is great and easy watching too.

So many, aren't there?
If I was on the spot, I'd plump for "Local Hero", a gentle comedy from Bill Forsyth.
Heart-warming tale of Scottish villagers, faced with a life-changing proposal from a Houston oil company.
You might not have seen it, nor rate it as highly as I do, but I could watch it every day.
Characters are so real and whilst there might not be any gut-wrenchingly hilarious moments, you will smile.

Whistle Down The Wind

It's not an understatement to say that I adore it. Black and white and set in East Lancs, brilliant plot, script, acting and scenery. Love it !

I use to like Meg Ryan in her films.

Alas, she is not as much fun in the present now.

The Mike Parkinson interview always use to amuse me. Meg Ryan simply did not know who he was! Mike 'The Ego' Parkinson could not quite get his head round that!

Was 'When Harry met Sally' the film when things got out of control over coffee in the café?

The Cenobites are extradimensional beings who appear in the works of Clive Barker, including the novella The Hellbound Heart and the nine Hellraiser films. Those bald blokes, dressed in black leather, with a grid of nails stuck in their heads.

"The only constants are that they take the form of ritually mutilated creatures with varying degrees of human characteristics, and that they can only reach Earth's reality through a schism in time and space, which is opened and closed using an innocuous-looking puzzle box called the Lament Configuration." Quote, effing, unquote.

Basically, it's schlock-horror garbage aimed at sci-fi fans with little scientific intellectual capability. You know, Arts graduates who are trying to cross over...
