Just heard the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, whilst deservedly praising all frontline staff, try to hitch his religious bandwagon by saying it shows` Britain`s Christian values`.

I would say it shows a humanist culture, and is nothing to do with belief in a sky god at all...

Look at it from his point of view. He's got to take whatever dubious evidence he can get. He can't REALLY wait until we are all molesting small children.

And, of course, it begs the slightly uncomfortable question of why his God invented viruses in the first place.

Perhaps he hasn`t read Oolon Collupod`s seminal `Where God went wrong`, or `Some more of God`s greatest mistakes`.

I think the Old Testament is somewhat nebulous on the protocol involving adult relations with young children, which is as good as a green light to some.

With the added benefit of guaranteed protection by the church involved...
