Saw this LP cover at the National Football Museum in Manchester the other day. No, we're not Cockneys!

He's projecting the aura of a loser. My Spurs pals described him as a prize to55er.

Flat roofed pubs..
at 11:33 30 Apr 2014

UB7? Bentley's? The club changed their names all the time, just like the QPR teamsheet in the past few seasons. However, the club is now bulldozed to make way for a new block of flats. I find it a bit amusing that some people actually want to live there.

Haha!

Just realised both pubs are in Yiewsley. West Drayton and Yiewsley all look the same to me. The border is a railway line.

That's a good shout. Haven't been there but it looks so grim whenever I travel past the sh1thole. Almost every pub in Hounslow is the same. The Jolly Wagoner in Cranford is now an Indian-themed restaurant/pub.

The Red Cow in West Drayton is a good candidate but it's been closed for a while. It just screams 'CHELSEA'.

Not exactly a flat-roofed pub but the Nag's Head in West Drayton is another good example of a sinkhole estate pub in an area full of Chelsea 'bankers'. I think it's also closed for business. Thankfully.

Ah! My old local. It's now called The Three Steps. The new owner redecorated the whole place and it looks even worse. The new-look pub looks like a Belfast loyalist pub or a British pub in a Turkish holiday resort. Used to drink there until the chavs took over.

The Grand Union looks good but it got the air of a Chelsea place.

My parents live nearby. I've moved out of Cowley few months ago. Whenever I'm back in the area, it's always the Crown for me cos of their generous opening hours.

Great news!

Anyway, why is Ian Taylor using his own Twitter account to break news concerning the club, instead of using the club's account? It is like if he is promoting himself.

Strikers - Their Promise faded away

Matt Jansen - he was on verge of an English national call-up before he was seriously injured in a road accident in Italy.

Jon Stead, Paul Gallagher and Matt Derbyshire - started out well and lost the quality over the years.

Michael Bridges - injuries ruined his career.

The booking fee for buying a ticket in the 'neutral end' is only £1.25 per ticket. Free P&P too. It's a bargain comparing to QPR's hefty £3.50 booking fee...

Anyone got a PDF copy of the magazine? Struggled to read the e-magazine on my laptop. I tried to convert the magazine into a readable PDF file but I'm having troubles. The design/content looks good though.

That Derry dog tattoo scares the hell out of me!

Does it have subtitles?

Tony Hibbert scores first goal for Everton
at 13:09 11 Aug 2012

That's a great moment. Did the fans sing "If Hibbert Scores, We Will Riot" for a while? I can't believe it took him a bit to score his first ever goal for the Toffees!

First Home Game of the Season

I usually have a fry up at a cafe close to West Drayton before heading to Shepherd's Bush via Ealing Broadway.

I don't have a regular pre-match pub. I alternated between the Defectors Weld, the Green, the Springbok and the Crown and Sceptre.

The Defectors Weld is decent for an interesting range of foreign beers but I'm not a fan of the pricelist and moody posh art students masquerading as bar staff. The Green is OK but no Sky TV.
