Good old Brian and his time travelling antics...
No wonder he always cleans up at the bookies!

Apparently Sheff Weds will learn their fate soon - what's the betting that this is left until the end of April and, again, it will have no real impact other than league position.

But he got the Grimsby job. Bet he stinks of fish now, mind you.

Things that don’t make sense

Hey, I used to like Tanita Tikaram's first album!

I make you right about the shooting thing - I don't get that sport where they ski (on flat ground mainly) then have to shoot targets. Why combine those two sports? - I mean you could just combine anything - like cycling and then getting off your bike and have to putt a golf ball, or throw darts. Madness.

Can't help thinking that this was from Briatore's 'boutique' era - note the old logo. Looks like no increased capacity per se, just loads of executive boxes and roof terrace bar. We have a job getting people in the boxes / restaurant now. Funnily enough, the one way we might squeeze a few more seats into SAR would be removal of the exec boxes plus a possible overhang over the road (like Aston Villa's Trinity Rd stand) - think Clive has mentioned this before.

Only other way is safe standing areas.

I'd like to see the red / white halves kit back again for a season - I reckon that would sell well.

If we get any more injuries, we might end up playing those two in defence.

If we all turn our backs to the pitch in protest we won't have to watch him score.

No point crying over spilt milk, as other posters have pointed out on the original thread, this is the risk you run when you play the loan market. We still might have an exciting Harry-style transfer deadline frenzy... is Peter Odemwingie still playing???

They seem to going for broke (literally).

Their lawyers have appealed against their ground sale scam, so will draw it out over time in the same way we did - in the hope that by the time judgement day comes they are rolling in the PL money. The issue for them as they are about as consistent as we are, despite the big squad.

We'll score, of that I am sure. Has the potential to be one of those loony nights under the lights.
3-2 to the Rs. Missed penalties, streakers, asteroids. Hemorrhoids. Tardigrades. Floodlight failures, hand dryers not working in the bogs...

FA Cup: QPR v Sheff Wed - Friday 24th January
at 12:23 24 Jan 2020

Arguably, the club were being careful with the cash by not opening Ellerslie up - savings on staff / stewards / cleaning etc.

If the other sides aren't all full then they will have made the right call. Seems a shame, though, as the club have stated that we are going to put a strong team out and have a go.

Help me out with this (in case I am losing my mind)...

Wasn't there a program on TV (1980s I would think) about a woman footballer who played for a men's team. Kit was QPR and it was filmed at LR, but the team was called something different, like EPR or something.

I have googled it and I can't find anything - so it's possible I am losing my mind. If anyone else remembers it then I'll feel saner!

Edit: feeling slightly saner already - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0103861/
