One of my funniest memories was doing the conga down the pitch at Gary Waddock's testimonial match against Charleroi ... while the game carried on around us!

Might be worth double checking the engineering works if you are coming via Twickenham. A mate of mine looked into buying a ticket in advance on this route and was told the journey would involve a change of trains and a replacement bus journey. Direct from Paddington is defintely okay though.

QPR hail Cesar after escaping West Ham with a draw — full match report

Nice one Clive, cracking read as always. While on the subject of cracks, I went sledging with my kids at the weekend and managed to snap my leg in two places. I've got at least 2 months in plaster to look forward to, so the chances of travelling the 100 odd miles to LR are very slim for now. Your previews and reviews are going to be even more invaluable for me for the foreseeable future!

This Week — Black Wednesday, part one
at 21:45:19

(Another) sad day as a QPR supporter. Not a chance I can afford those sort of 'walk up' prices. For the first time since 1986 I probably won't get to see a single home game.

Deep down I knew it was all going so well not having a points deduction off the FA ... a small part of me wishes we hadn't got promoted now.

What saddens me is that a lot of loyal fans will be priced out, to be replaced by glory hunters with deeper pockets.

Not surprised ... but still gutted.

Dave’s super-sub act cancels out Stead’s blockbuster — full match report

Having dominated the game for long periods it did at times look like the sort of game where we'd come away with nothing, so i'm happy with the point (at least it will make going to work in Bristol on Monday morning a bit easier).

We weren't great, but we're still unbeaten. I can remember the last decent run we had (in 1987) and i'd say we're a lot better now. Not the finished article, but certainly good for the top 3 or 4 at least.
