Was actually quite sad to see what had become of Hull. There were hints of what it used to be, probably not a bad place to live. Could probably say the same of a lot of British cities unfortunately. |

Yeah hilarious. Proper yellow wall that was last night. Proof that money can't buy everything. Pleased for Dortmund, proper club. Hoping Munich can get past Real tonight, probably unlikely though |

I also thought the longer you took to take a penalty, the more likely you were to miss. But I think the stats show that actually your chances of scoring increase? Rather than rushing and hitting your pen as soon as the ref blows their whistle. I'm sure someone on here shared that info before. |

The growing virtue signalling every year is tiresome. And it's increasingly bloated with the number of countries (let alone facking Australia being in it). Once upon a time you had eighteen countries and the whole thing took around two hours. Now it just goes on and on and on... |

Agreed (from the few games I saw this season). Forgot that Droopy-draws Cooper is still available. As for Stoke and their finances, are they still working that loophole through the stadium and Bet365?? |

And hopefully Fox has proved recently that he can step in for JCS without too much trouble. Of course this is all largely dependent on keeping Cook fit. |

Had an early start that day as ASB played Sheffield United fans in the morning, we won 7-6! I remember walking up to Hillsborough and feeling quite serene, confident we'd get the win we needed. Don't get that feeling very often with the Rs... Afterwards, drove back to Shepherds Bush in record time to continue the celebrations |

Well not all of them were terrible! Saksena seemed to have his head screwed on properly, shame he wasn't around longer. |

I think the bottom three will end up as is given the tough games Birmingham and Huddersfield have against top six teams still needing results themselves. But you never know. Hope Plymouth stay up if nothing else. |

I went to Barnet v Bromley the other week, didn't think they were anything too special. Luke Freeman playing for Barnet, not quite as svelte as he used to be. Barnet having been second nearly all season, get gumped 4-0 at home in the semi final by Solihull Moors last weekend, who now play Bromley in the final. Funny old game, Saint. |

Well I did mention Nourry as well and it does appear having some new faces at board level also has a positive impact. |

Well maybe we were stagnant the last couple of years or so but hopefully with Cifuentes and Nourry we're coming out of that now. |

Re the OP I'm not sure why it's 'inevitable' that they will get relegated straight away. |

The winner at Watford during Covid - I was jumping around the front room for five minutes afterwards. Not forgetting Dom Ball's contribution to the celebrations |
