We should not forget, though, that previous unlawful demonstrations that have alienated the general public have had some success in their outcomes. I am not advocating such action but the suffragettes and the anti apartheid demonstrations of the late 60s, early 70s, come to mind. |

Great ... and pave the way for the return of Boris! Whatever you think of him, at least he has a bit of integrity. |

I understand that there is a document produced by the National College of Policing which gives guidance to Forces on that issue and others. I am not sure when it was produced but I suspect it was following recent events such as the Sarah Everard case. |

And, of course, not all officers are suitable to carry firearms e.g. physically or temperamentally. Indeed some officers may not wish to carry firearms. We must respect the level of courage, training and expertise of those that do. |

Sounds like one of those bulls**t jobs that don't actually achieve anything. The BBC and the Post Office are full of them, all on the taxpayer. |

If you want to witness a lack of honesty without actually lying it's worth watching some of the witnesses in the Post Office Horizon Enquiry hearings. Remember that expression 'economical with the truth'? I cannot recall who coined it but it's very apt. |

Having just seen a series of emails Ms Jones, exchanged with an aide, I despair. This woman is a well paid, well compensated, representative of us, the people who are ultimately picking up the bill. How could she stoop so low (a rhetorical question) and how many others in the Senedd are at it (not a rhetorical question). It's no wonder potential voters are generally so cynical and are not bothering to turn out in an election. But the answer actually is to bother and vote these people out. |

If looks are a prerequisite then perhaps the FAW should recruit Joanna Lumley. |

It seems to me that the only way to rectify that scenario is to adopt a system of Proportional Representation. |

Yes I am a fan of Osian too. However I see him more as a 'power behind the throne' person rather than King. Can the FAW afford both him and a new Manager? |

I agree with you. Yes, Page should have gone after the World Cup but how often do we see the players escaping responsibility and the Manager, alone, having to carry the can. This was the perfect opportunity for some on the fringes, but, apart from Koumas it seems, they did not deliver, as you say. |

To be honest I would rather he be on the golf course, in Tescos, or down Wind Street on a match day than part of the Squad, and take the financial hit. I just wonder if the decision to sign him was out of desperation or simply poor judgement. I am still hoping that a Club in the lower Divisions, like Wrexham, with a bit of spare cash, would stump up for him. |
